Rifleman
This sections covers the combat equipment and weapons for this role. It doesn't mention things like uniform as every trooper had the same basic uniform. So if portraying the above position you should have the following items :-
The Rifleman is the backbone to every fighting force, although it
probalby doesn't sound like a very interesting role, it is by far the
most important. Armed with the M1 Garand rifle and carrying
a large ammo load each one packed a lot of firepower.
Each rifleman also carried either one 250 .30 belt or a 60mm
mortar round during the jump which was pooled when on
the ground, spreading the load for the support weapons.

3 - 4 small Rigger ammunition pouches
1x GP (General Purpose) Bags - each bag fits one 'spam can' .30 caliber ammo tin
