POM Numbers

Firstly, I know what most of you are thinking, what the hell is a POM number? The US Army, to help with the originastion of vast amount of kit, vehicles, boxes etc being shipped to the the ETO, these markings were only applied if it was shipped to the UK and then onwards to France. So an ideal addition and an amazing level of detail for your 101st kit.

These markings were put on all sorts of kit, foot lockers, water chest for MMGs, laundry bags, pup tents, radios, bazookas... anything shipped BY BOAT to France should have had a POM number. So think about that before you start plastering them on everything you can! Consider your time period on which your group is portraying, if those supplies haven't come by boat yet... you shouldn't have any or many.
